Update on Brenden

Well we had an appointment with The Naturopath on Wednesday of last week, after seeing her for an hour she came up with a game plan for Brenden, (assuming that he will get a diagnosis being on the spectrum)

1. CBC (complete blood count) to make sure his organs are working correctly.

2. Allergy panel test, (blood test) this tests 96 foods. (Found out that this IS COVERED under insurance!!!!) We were told that we would have to give him Gluten again before the testing. Justin and I decided that we know what wheat does to bubb and that we are not going to give it to him. He has come so far and I don't want to go back.......

3. Organic Acids test $369 (NOT covered) This test will show what his body does with metals in his system.

4. Metals urine test $149 (NOT covered) (6 hr urine collection) This will see WHAT metals are IN his body if any.

She gave me a list of about 5 supplements that they want him to be on, after talking to a good friend she stated that we need to explain to the Dr. that we are on a budget and we can only afford X amount per month so we can buy the most important.

So I received the Allergy test in the mail yesterday, now i have to find a Pediatric flobotomist

to take bubbs blood after an 8 hr fast.

Batman and Chubakka

The other day I started going through the boy's cluttered closet, and did a little spring cleaning. I found some of our masks and costumes from Halloween. So I gave them to the boys to go have fun!!! Bubb was Batman and he LOVED it!!! He did really good at pretending :)

Jake not so much he didn't love the chubakka hairpiece I put on him. Anyhoo here are some pictures of the boys........ENJOY!

When the sun came out the other day I kicked the kids in the backyard to PLAY!!! Bubb found his bubbles and had a blast! He was blowing so many bubbles! Jake was loving it!! So here are some pictures (I really wish I had a better camera and knew how to take better pictures)

Gardening with Oma

Last weekend we went over to My dad and Vera's house to get some strawberry plants, Vera was digging up strawberries and weeds and Bubb decided to then "plant" the weeds in the garden...It was really cute! so enjoy!

He really loves the bath, but he had take showers up until he was one because whenever I tried to give both the boys bath's he ALWAYS was trying to drown himself, and it scared me to death! so showers it was. Now he is pretty good :)

Brenden was invited to a classmates birthday party.. at where else chuck E Cheese! First thoughts were "He cannot eat anything there" and "Total sensory overload" But I called Cullen's mom and explained his diet restrictions, and would you believe it she made GF/CF Cupcakes and had snacks and veggies for Him to eat!! It was such a blessing to me!! I hope to be able to become friends with other moms who is going through the same thing I am or is a couple steps in front of me. The picture below is Brenden wearing the Birthday boys hat!! (cullen did not want to wear it so it was OK)
